"6 Nimmt!" (known in some regions as "Category 5" or "The 6th Cow") is a card game in which players try to collect as few penalty points as possible. Each player has a hand of numbered cards, and in every round, everyone simultaneously chooses one card and reveals it on the table.
Cards are placed into rows in ascending order. A player must place their card in the row where the last card has the highest value that is still lower than their own card. If a card becomes the sixth in a row, that player must take all five cards in that row and receives penalty points (represented by cow heads on the cards).
If a card cannot be placed in any of the rows, the player is forced to pick up one of the rows of their choice.
The game combines simple rules with elements of tactical calculation and anticipating the moves of other players.
